MSME Focused Digital Bank Green Link Launched

Green Link Digital Bank (GLDB) has started operating, with the new financial institution offering banking services to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), offering to help them with supply chain finance and technology solutions.

GLDB helps underserved businesses with accessible commercial banking services, seeking to extend its service coverage to the digital economy. And the bank wants to help companies improve their quality of service and become “a leader in wholesale banking”.

“The start of operations of Green Link Digital Bank in Singapore is a major milestone. It aims to strengthen the fundamental pillars of digitalization, technological empowerment and green finance,” said Geng Jing, Chairman of GLDB.

Meanwhile, Song Qun, vice president of GLDB, said the plan was to bring “cutting edge” technology to small businesses.

He added that the bank wanted to further explore new ways to diversify, including “AI, blockchain, cloud computing and big data (ABCD) in supply chain finance,” and wanted to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) ideas. to help their work become more sustainable.
